Many people write for many reasons and from many points of view. The writing I think you will find here will be from the common man’s side of the tracks, looking up from the worm’s eye point of view. Being a middle-child, you fought for what was left in the bottom of the glass, the hand-me-downs and the leftovers. Like the worm that ends up on the bottom of the shoe or on the end of the hook, we can either be looking at the fish or looking at the bird. So the worm sees things from a slightly different perspective.
“We should choose our books as God chooses our friends, just a bit beyond ourselves so we have to do our level best to keep up with them.”
I write as a common man and I think to the common man, plain vanilla, no sprinkles. But I have spent much time seeing and now would like to spend some time saying, so as I have started to pay attention and read between the lines of life I wish to write, not just lines, but to write between the lines. If there is one thing, I am sure of in this life it is that I am unsure of a few things, but maybe in this un-surety there are somethings, a few things that I am sure of. Here you might even find them both if you read between the lines.
So, when you read, you may think to yourself, “I already knew that”. But maybe, just maybe there will be that one time in which you find yourself between the lines with me, saying “I never knew that”. I hope that we will both find ourselves in this spot together, at least a time or two, and if so then ‘The Scarlet Worm’ has found His way and has made for Himself a purpose, and a friend. Welcome to the Worm’s Lair! 🙂
fantastic post, very informative. I wonder why the other experts of this sector do not notice this. You should continue your writing. I’m confident, you have a great readers’ base already!
